The space

Villa des Amandiers is spatious yet very cozy and familial. Ideal for a group of friends, several couples or a large family. Two-storey home with several large rooms and bathrooms, as well as all the necessary amenities for a comfortable and enjoyable holiday, including cable television and wi-fi internet. Lovely landscaped garden with swimming pool (from May 1st to September 30), trampoline, mini playground, dining and lounge areas. Ideally located between Marseille and Aix-en-Provence. Very easy drive to both cities, as well as to the many other villages, cities and sites in Provence.

The neighborhood

Mimet is the highest village in the region of the Bouches du Rhône. From the southern side of the village, you enjoy a view of the city of Marseille and the Medirranean Sea; from the northern end, a view of the Montagne Sainte Victoire. It is a short drive to Aix-en-Provence, home to many French artists, including painter Paul Cezanne ; the renown annual Festival d’Art Lyric is held here every summer, attracting musicians, performers and opera lovers from all over the world. It is equally close to the city of Marseille and its many nearby beaches.

Mimet is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful region of Provence. A short trip southeast will bring you to the Cote d'Azur with its well known beaches and cities such as Nice, Cannes or St. Tropez. Nature lovers will appreciate the easy trip to the delta of the Camargue. Then, there is also the ancient town of Orange with its Roman theatre, the Palais de Pape in Avignon, the lavender fields in Senanque, just to name a few…

PLEASE NOTE the last 500 meters of the drive way is NOT PAVED & QUITE BUMPY. NOT easy for low cars
